In this compelling and interactive presentation, scholar and playwright Dr. Sonny Kelly weaves together storytelling, lecture, poetry, and dramatic interpretation to confront the painful and persistent legacies that continue to shape American life.

Tracing a powerful thread from the colonial era to the present day, Dr. Kelly brings to life pivotal figures such as Crispus Attucks, Frederick Douglass, and Fred Hampton, illuminating how their struggles and leadership speak directly to the divisions we face today. With insight and urgency, he asks the central questions: How did we get where we are, and what can history teach us about where we go next?

Indivisible reveals a too-often overlooked American story – one marked not only by oppression, but by enduring hope, resilience, and the pursuit of unity. This is a story that challenges us to listen deeply, reflect honestly, and take up the baton from past leaders to help build a more just and indivisible nation.
