STOP THE BLEED® Course

No matter how fast professional emergency responders arrive, bystanders will always be the first on the scene. A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes, therefore it is important to quickly stop blood loss.

The American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED® course has prepared more than 2.6 million people worldwide on how to stop bleeding in a severely injured person. Through this course, you’ll prepare yourself to help injured people following a traumatic event.


What You'll Learn

What stops bleeding? In a STOP THE BLEED® course, you’ll learn three quick techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out:

How to use your hands to apply pressure to a wound.
How to pack a wound to control bleeding.
How to correctly apply a tourniquet. These three techniques will empower you to assist in an emergency and potentially save a life.

Fosters starts at 1pm...we will hold the session at 2:00pm (roughly 60 mins)

Come out to Fosters...grab some food, drinks and learn a little about a how to save a life.
