Welcome all homeschool families! Join other elementary school-aged homeschoolers to experience a naturalist-led field trip at McKinley Woods – Kerry Sheridan Grove. Discover how animals adapt to the seasonal changes that take place in nature from fall to winter. During this program, students will participate in interactive demonstrations of how animals survive the winter.

Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 5 to 10 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note this is not a drop-off program; adults or chaperones do not need to register but must be present for the program.

This is an inclusive field trip, welcoming individuals of all abilities. Hikes will be up to 1 mile over paved and natural surface terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
