Welcome, all homeschool families! Join other elementary school-aged homeschoolers to experience a naturalist-led field trip at McKinley Woods — Kerry Sheridan Grove. Celebrate and discover the diversity of life by participating in a BioBlitz where living things are observed, identified and documented. Participants will become true citizen scientists by collecting and sharing meaningful data while exploring the preserve. 

Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 5-10. Participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Please note this is not a drop-off program; adults or chaperones do not need to register but must be present for the program. This is an inclusive field trip, welcoming individuals of all abilities. 

Four Rivers Environmental Education Center is an accessible facility. Hikes will be up to 0.5 miles over paved and natural surface terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
