- **Event Description**: Come on out for the 3rd Annual Hot Chocolate Factory! This year the kids, ages 10, 8 and 5, will be raising funds for a single mom of 3 experiencing home insecurity. They will have hot chocolate, lemonade, baked goods, and hot dogs. Tables and chairs will be set out to stay awhile and visit!

We also wanted to update on the families helped out in our last two hot chocolate factories. The first year we did this, we raised $3600 for a family of 7 who had a pending foreclosure looming on their house. Two years later, they are still in their home and feeling much more stable! The second year we did this, $2100 was split between two single moms. The first was able to find a women's shelter to live in with her children and has recently been able to purchase a vehicle! The other was able to pay her rent and evade eviction for her and her 2 girls. 

We hope to have an amazing year of generosity from our community. We have a huge goal of raising $5000 this year! Please come out, enjoy some sweet treats or a hot dog lunch and help serve this mom!
