So many beautiful birds, where to begin!? Let’s start with the basics and learn to use size, color and shape as tools to identify birds. Test out some new skills in the field as we hike through diverse bird habitats.

Fee: Free!
Age: Ages 12 or older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration required by Thursday, April 23, by calling 815-722-9470 or online: 

This is an inclusive program, welcoming individuals of all abilities. This hike will be up to 1.5 miles on paved surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online (https://www.reconnectwithnature.org/americans-with-disabilities-act-information/request-accommodation-inclusion-service/) no later than 48 hours before the program.
