Join Park Interpreter, Kristin Sanderson, under the museum portico for a closer look at specific aspects of Fort Churchill’s history. Program topics will change monthly.

The Pony Express was the United States’ first cross-country mail delivery service. Riders carried mail both to and from the soldiers at Fort Churchill who were responsible for guarding the Pony Express route through the region.

Park entrance fees apply, $5.00 per vehicle ($10.00 for non-Nevada vehicles). There is no additional cost to participate in the program.
