Horse Whispering meets Science and Spirituality-Gilbert AZ
Science Based Horsemanship Seminar is a one day event that focuses on the science of how the equine brain works within the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic nervous system. We will also be discussing the 4 major brain chemicals that influence our horses behavior and learning capabilities, which are Dopamine, Cortisol, Adrenaline and Serotonin. This newly discovered research will dynamically change how we interact, teach and ride with our Equine partners.
This is an educational seminar with demonstrations of using science based knowledge to better understand and work with horses. We will select a few horse from local attendees to use as demonstration horses. If you would like us to use your horse please private message West Taylor directly.
The first half day of the workshop is a multi-media presentation explaining how the horses brain actually processes information and the learning sequence of the horse.
The second half of the day is a live demonstration of the science learning model with a horse in the round pen.
What does dopamine, adrenaline, cortisol and serotonin have to do with handling horses??
