The 2026 Frostbite 500, Champlin’s Annual Trout Ice Fishing Contest, is happening on Saturday, February 7, from 8am to 11am (weather permitting; make-up date February 14).

🎣 All ages welcome (under 16 must be with an adult)
🎣 Contestants may keep up to three rainbow trout
🎣 Entry Fee: $35 residents | $45 non-residents
🎣 Limited to 500 anglers — pre-drilled holes 12 feet apart
🎣 Champlin Trout Pond (10377 French Lake Rd N)
🎣 MN license + trout stamp required (not available onsite)
