The ski touring in the famous Italian Val d'Aosta is as good as the coffee and we aim to give you an excellent introduction to the area with 2 varied & physical days skiing and a night in a fine Italian Mountain Refuge.  An Italian spring ski touring treat to savour!

Course Aims
Enjoy 2 good days ski mountaineering in the Italian Valle d'Aosta & Gran Paradiso National Park with the ski ascent of the Gran Paradiso (4061m)
Complete some ski & mountain training during the first day whilst touring & acclimatising in the process
Spend 1 night in an Italian Mountain Refuge and enjoy the associated pasta, gelato and coffee!
Meet up with like other like minded ski mountaineers for a sociable ski journey in the mountains
Optional:  Warm up - with our Chamonix Ski Mountaineering day just prior to this course
Optional:  Continuation - acclimatise and prepare for Ski The Bishorn after this course, after a rest day!
