LEVEL UP - Freeride Experience

As part of LEVEL UP 2 – A Freeride Girls Event organized by Marion Haerty, this session is exclusively open to new participants.

👉 Not open to riders registered for the 2026 splitboard initiation

👉 Not open to riders who took part in last year’s freeride or splitboard initiations

The goal: give as many girls as possible the chance to discover freeride this year.

You’ll be coached by a certified mountain guide to learn the fundamentals of safe, confident freeriding:

• Understanding and reading the terrain
• Adapting your riding to different types of snow
• Choosing safe and fun lines
• Avalanche awareness & safety gear use
• Mastering freeride essentials: speed control, managing pressure, turning in variable snow
• Building confidence and autonomy in the mountains

To join the session, you should:

• Ride confidently on-piste (comfortable on red slopes)
• Control your speed and stop safely
• Have basic experience in variable terrain
• Be motivated to learn and progress

(No previous freeride experience needed — this is an initiation!)

• Ski pass for the day
• Coaching by a certified snowboarder guide
• Avalanche safety introduction
• Après-ski aperitif at the shop from 5 PM — TBC
  

• Snowboard
  You will have the opportunity to test Rossignol equipment!
• Avalanche gear: DVA, shovel, probe, helmet
• Backpack with water & snacks
• Proper freeride outerwear

• 8 AM - 12 PM: Limited to 5 participants
• 01 PM - 4 PM: Limited to 5 participants

At the end of the day, you’ll also have the chance to meet Marion Haerty and the 10 winners of the LEVEL UP event. This is the perfect moment to connect, share stories, and enjoy a drink together!
