During this workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of map reading by planning your own hike the traditional way on a topographic map.You'll discover how to read the terrain, understand contour lines, estimate distance and elevation gain, and build a route adapted to the landscape.Once your route is complete, we'll compare it with the same itinerary on before heading out together to hike it in the mountains.A hands-on experience combining map reading, navigation and hiking, giving you the skills to plan your future adventures with confidence.?
