En effet, la toute première édition s’est déroulée à Saint-Chartier en 1976. C’est donc vers cette date importante que nous nous tournons. Nous souhaitons célébrer cet héritage et le transmettre à nos festivaliers. Soyez sûrs que nous allons vous concocter une édition mémorable et pleine de surprises. Laissez-vous séduire par ces sentiers ombragés, où chaque pas vous rapproche un peu plus de la convivialité et de la détente. C'est l'endroit idéal pour flâner, se détendre et profiter de la nature dans toute sa splendeur. Venez explorer ces recoins mystérieux et laissez-vous emporter par la magie des lieux ! C’est autour du salon de lutherie que s’organise tout ce rassemblement. Avec près de 150 exposants venus des quatre coins de l'Europe, c'est un véritable festin pour les amateurs d'instruments traditionnels. Des fabricants de vielle, de cornemuse, d’instruments à cordes et à vent, d'accordéons et bien d'autres encore se donnent rendez-vous. C'est là que se retrouvent tous les mélomanes de nos régions, qu'ils soient débutants ou confirmés, pour célébrer leur passion pour la musique traditionnelle. Le salon est un véritable lieu d'échange et de partage, où l'on peut découvrir de nouveaux instruments, essayer ceux qui nous font rêver, et même se joindre à des bœufs improvisés qui font vibrer l'endroit toute la journée. Et pour ceux qui veulent en savoir plus sur le travail des luthiers, ils auront désormais l'occasion de découvrir leurs créations sur la Prairie, où ils pourront présenter le fruit de toute une vie de travail ou partager leurs dernières innovations techniques ou technologiques. Un rendez-vous incontournable pour tous les amoureux de la musique et de l'artisanat ! Pendant que le salon de lutherie bat son plein, le village des associations est le lieu où il faut être ! Vous y trouverez toutes sortes de stands, qu'ils soient institutionnels, marchands (pour dénicher des pépites musicales en disques et revues, ou encore des trésors d'occasion sur le marché des instruments), ou dédiés à la formation et à l'information sur les métiers de la lutherie. Vous y trouverez aussi un stand de notre association, si vous souhaitez adhérer au projet du Son Continu C'est un peu comme une grande fête où se retrouvent producteurs, artistes et passionnés de musique traditionnelle, venus des quatre coins du monde associatif. Besoin de cours de musique ou de danse ? Les associations locales sont là pour répondre à vos envies ! L'ambiance est toujours au rendez-vous avec des animations sur un parquet dédié, et la programmation est annoncée au jour le jour pour ne rien manquer des festivités. Et même après la fermeture du village vers 19h, pas de souci ! La buvette reste ouverte et le parquet est libre d'accès pour ceux qui veulent prolonger la soirée en musique et en danse ! En après-midi, la scène participative et la scène ouverte seront accessibles aux formations désireuses de participer au rassemblement. Makers of hurdy-gurdies, bagpipes, string and wind instruments, accordions and many more come together to share their craft. This is where musicians and music lovers from all backgrounds meet – beginners and experienced players alike – to celebrate their passion for traditional music. The fair is a lively space for exchange and discovery, where visitors can explore new instruments, try out those they’ve always dreamed of playing, and join the spontaneous jam sessions that bring the area to life throughout the day. For those curious about the craft of instrument making, the Prairie area will now offer a special space where luthiers can present their creations – the result of a lifetime of craftsmanship – or showcase their latest technical and technological innovations. A must-see for anyone passionate about music and traditional craftsmanship. While the instrument makers’ fair is in full swing, the Associations Village is another place not to miss. Here you will find a wide range of stands: institutional organisations, record and magazine sellers, second-hand instrument markets, as well as information stands about musical training and instrument-making professions. Our own association also has a stand there if you would like to support or join the Son Continu project. It’s a bit like a big celebration bringing together producers, artists and enthusiasts of traditional music from across the associative world. Looking for music or dance classes? Local associations will be happy to guide you! The atmosphere is always lively, with activities on a dedicated dance floor and a programme announced daily so you don’t miss a thing. And even after the village closes around 7 pm, the music continues: the bar remains open and the dance floor stays accessible for those who want to keep playing and dancing into the evening.
