This event is to get kids into fishing while also helping with the carp problem lake glenbawn is facing. Carp fishing is a rewarding and enjoyable outdoor activity, bringing loved ones together while installing an appreciation for nature. This event provides the perfect opportunity for family members and friends to bond and strengthen their relationships in a serene environment at lake glenbawn.
* 2x age groups with both female and male categories.
* junoirs 3yrs-15yrs.
* opens 16yrs & older.
* prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age with also male and female categories.
*prize for most fish in each age categories.
*All juniors under 16 must be registered alongside another contestant over the age of 18+
* kids aged 3-10 are free entry, REGISTRATION IS ESSENTIAL
* Ages 11+ $15
* Fishing starts from 6.30am until 5.30pm, presentation at 6pm
*biggest carp of the day is worth $3000, $1000 in cash and $2000 worth of prizes
*2nd biggest carp $500 and fire pit
*3rd biggest carp $250 + fishing rod
