A un anno di distanza dall’esordio con Canzoni contro la ragione, la band composta dai musicisti e sound designer bolognesi Alessio Vanni, Lorenzo Valdesalici e Lorenzo Marra torna con un disco sperimentale e intenso, instabile e drammatico, attraversato da una costante tensione musicale ed emotiva. "Ahimè" è espressione sonora e immaginifica del desiderio di riuscire a vivere nel qui e ora, riscoprendo quel contatto con noi stessi e con la natura che ci circonda, nonostante tutte le incoerenze, incognite e assurdità della contemporaneità.
Un elogio alla bellezza della temporaneità della vita, perché è proprio lì che risiede la nostra unicità.

"Ahimè" è una reazione istintiva a questa realtà già di per sé molto più surreale di qualsiasi storia immaginata: è un disco che prova a parlare di tutto, ma sarebbe meglio dire che non parla di niente afferma LOSTATOBRADO. Non importa quale significato questo album trasmetta all’ascoltatore, l’importante è che possa essere immagine ancora prima di essere suono. L’andirivieni del mondo, il su e giù del vivere, la magia dell’essere qua in questo momento. Con sguardo lucido e disincantato, a tratti tragicomico, "Ahimé" racconta la realtà con la sua stessa voce e disegna un paesaggio sonoro stratificato, inquieto ed evocativo, grazie a quella che il gruppo definisce musica elettroacustica post-agricola: un’etichetta-non etichetta che vuole descrivere un sound originale e figlio del suo tempo, che si muove tra elettronica, sperimentazione e cantautorato, attraversato da suggestioni cinematografiche e ricco di campionamenti inediti.
