【Find out the taste of Hong Kong with your hands】

Trying local authentic food is a great way to experience the culture of a foreign city, but learning how to make them yourself is even better! PMQ Taste Library is the one, and the only one, food-themed library in Asia. Having a collection of over four thousand books covering different food cultures from around the globe, we now are offering you the perfect opportunity to experience the local Cantonese food culture the way you have never done before!

Our curator will talk about the history and stories of the dish of the day in the "Cook-In Hong Kong" workshop. Meanwhile, all the participants would learn how to make the dish from scratch. After the workshop, not only your stomach will be satisfied, but you will also be able to bring the wonderful taste back to your home country!

This month, we also have a session on making traditional Chinese New Year food!

* Minimum two people to form a class; Reservation must be made at least TWO working days prior the class (No walk-in accepted).

【用雙手了解香港味道】

最好的旅程,就是像在地人一樣生活! 香港是美食之都相信大家都會認同,但在旅途中除了在餐廳吃,有否想過自己下廚學煮一兩道香港菜? PMQ是亞洲唯一一間以味道為主題的圖書館,我們除了藏有四千本與飲食有關的圖書外,更一直在香港致力推廣飲食文化。如果你也喜歡飲食和烹飪,想在旅途期間學習更多飲食知識,就要來味道圖書館上一課港味十足的料理烹飪體驗了!

在「港飲港食」工作坊中,策展人除了會講解所作菜式的背景和源起,也會加入創意元素,讓你更全面看到香港的飲食文化,經過一個多小時的工作坊後,不止腦袋和肚子得到滿足,還可以把旅行時喜歡的味道也一併學好然後帶回家去!

今個月除了叉燒包之外,還有本地傳統賀年食品的教學!
