A Cuddle Party (tm)

A Cuddle Party is a playful social event designed for adults to explore communication, boundaries and platonic affection. You can come to a Cuddle Party to meet new people, to enjoy amazing conversations, to touch, to be touched, to have fun, to practice asking for what you want, to practice saying “no” to what you don’t want — all in a setting structured to be a safe place for exploration and enjoyment. You can even come to a Cuddle Party just to cuddle!

A Cuddle Party is normally about a 3 hour workshop experience where participants engage in communication exercises, explore touch in a non-sexual space, experience personal exploration and intimacy, and have fun with like minded people.

What do we do at a Cuddle Party? We do two main things at Cuddle Parties:

1. Practice Consent. A major part of Cuddle Parties is learning how to ask for what you want and how to answer requests. Worried? Confused? Don’t fret – we will teach, guide and help you practice how to do it.

2. Enjoy each other’s touch. You can come and enjoy giving and receiving caring touch from other people who want to give and receive it. But only if you choose.

This is a Non-sexual Event

This is a non-sexual event and our first rule is that clothing stays on all the time. You have the option of experiencing touch and maybe intimacy if you’d like to – but we steer away from sexual behavior. If you are looking for something sexy, we’re all for it! 🙂 just not in this event.

Must I Do Anyhing?

Nope. You are always free to join in or not as you wish. No one is forced to do anything. You can just snack and watch or talk or sleep. Well, you get the idea.

Why is Cuddling important? Nurturing and consensual loving touch is good for maintaining a healthy life, a strong nervous system and a balanced emotional state for people of all walks of life. One’s ability to connect with and develop greater trust in others is emphasized during the group exchanges during Cuddle Parties. Self-care is a cornerstone of the Cuddle Party experience.
