🐟 Salmon viewing walk along Bear Creek 🐟

Chinook salmon return every fall to spawn in Bear Creek, the most urbanized tributary of the Rogue River and an easy place to see them is along the Bear Creek Greenway in Central Point around the Pine Street bridge. We will meet at the day use parking area and walk on the Greenway to look for fish at several locations. We will talk about the life history of salmon and the challenges they face as well as the work Rogue Riverkeeper does to protect the water quality they depend on.

These educational walks are free and great for people of all ages.
