Plant Propagation: Stem and Leaf Cuttings

Propagating plants by cutting can be a great way to increase the number of plants you have. Whether for your outdoor plants or your indoor plants, propagation is a great skill for any gardener to have. You can make many copies of your favorite plants. You can save cuttings of your favorite cold sensitive plants indoors throughout winter and prep them for spring. You can have endless plants for holiday gifts. The possibilities are endless.
