🎉 Seollal (설날) Celebration – Monday, Feb. 16, 2026! 🎉
Seollal is the Korean Lunar New Year—a major traditional holiday celebrated in South Korea, North Korea, and Korean communities worldwide. It marks the first day of the Korean lunisolar calendar and is traditionally observed over three days. This year, we’ll be celebrating the day before Lunar New Year, on Sunday, February 15, 2026!
🌸 Enjoy Delicious Seollal Foods:
Tteokguk (떡국): A warm and comforting soup made with sliced rice cakes in savory beef broth, topped with thinly sliced egg, green onion, and beef.
Jeon (전): Savory Korean pancakes served with a spicy soy-vinegar dipping sauce flavored with gochutgaru (Korean chili powder).
Japchae (잡채): Stir-fried sweet potato noodles mixed with beef, spinach, carrots, mushrooms, peppers, and delightful seasonings.
🎲 Play Traditional Korean Games:
Try classic Seollal games like Yunnori (윷놀이), Jegichagi (제기차기), Gonggi (공기), and many more!
