Brief introduction to the day’s itinerary.
10:00 AM – Guided visit to a local bakery
Discover a traditional and exclusive pastry shop, renowned and award-winning for its conventual pastries, followed by a tasting.
11:00 AM – Walk along the Corgo Walkways
Enjoy a scenic 1-hour walk (3 km | 1.8 miles), featuring wooden staircases and ending at a stunning waterfall.
12:30 PM – Traditional Portuguese lunch at a local restaurant
02:30 PM – Transfer to Alvão Natural Park
A protected natural park known for one of Portugal’s largest waterfalls and its remarkably wild, untouched landscape.
03:30 PM – Walk in Alvão Natural Park
Explore the park on a 1h30 walk (4 km | 2.5 miles), with views of the impressive Fisgas de Ermelo waterfall and the chance to spot local wildlife such as eagles, goats, and sheep—a genuine glimpse into rural Portugal.
