The Sanctus Choir invites you to an afternoon filled with fellowship, food, and joyful singing as we raise funds for our new organ.
On Sunday, April 26, from Noon to 3:00 PM, we’ll gather for Singing Our Faith, beginning with a Soup, Sandwich & Salad Bar Lunch from Noon–1:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch will also include cake and ice cream. Cost: $4 per individual | $10 per family
At 1:00 PM, we’ll move to the Sanctuary for a Hymn-Sing, featuring beloved hymns from across the last century and led by a rotating team of accompanists. Each hymn will include the first and last verse, keeping the music moving and inviting everyone to participate. The afternoon will conclude with The Hallelujah Chorus.
This hymn-sing includes a fun twist: Sponsor a Song!
Beginning March 22, a list of hymns will be posted on the church website and app. Please sponsor a hymn for a suggested donation, with a range of sponsorship amounts available so everyone can take part. Sponsorships will close April 12 to allow time for preparation. If your favorite hymn isn't listed we will be doing shout outs for $5!
With your help, the choir hopes to raise $2,500 toward our new organ. Come for the food, stay for the music, and help support the future of worship in our church.
