Tuesday and Thursday, January 20 & 22:  12:30-2:30 pm
In this intermediate Color Pencil class, students will learn portraiture drawing, more specifically, the contours and subtleties of the human eye and ear and what makes them look most realistic. Participants will witness demos and be guided and given tips and illustrated worksheets, anatomy sheets for the eye and ear, reference photos and line drawings. Students first draw the eye in black & white, to understand and learn shading, then they will render the drawing in color. Session 2 tackles the ear in the same way. Dedicated beginners are also encouraged to register. Students should bring Prismacolor Premier 24-piece Portrait colored pencil set (all the skin tones), available at  Amazon & Blick for $28. If students already have the Prismacolor Premium 72-piece colored pencil set, this will work as well. The CCC has two sets of colored pencils available, if students need to borrow. All other supplies are included.
