About the event

Dreaming New Worlds: remaking ritual in community
Do you feel stuck knowing what to do with holidays that feel complex? How do we do Thanksgiving with family when we are committed to pushing back on colonization? How do we spend our day on July 4th when patriotism is linked with authoritarianism? Perhaps Christmas feels like an automatic practice rather than one linked to a meaningful observance for you.

Join us for an evening conversation and mini-workshop about how to craft ritual that is aligned with our commitments and values. Sisters: Lucy Waechter Webb and Tess Waechter Smith will offer some storytelling about how they changed the patterns in their family gathering and invite us to workshop ideas for how we want to practice ritual throughout the year. We bring new possibilities to life by practicing them one relationship, one holiday, one ritual at a time!
