What this is about: 100% of Eagle Mountain City's property tax goes to public safety. The proposed rate would cover the City's contract with the Utah County Sheriff's Office dollar for dollar, including seven new positions. For the average Eagle Mountain home, the proposed increase comes to less than a dollar a day.
