- **Event Description**: NOTE: Due to construction at Cleveland Park, we are moving our Thursday park outreach back to Redmond Park for the remainder of the season.

Find us at parks around the city from Monday, June 8 to Friday, Aug. 7 for books, games, fun, and a few surprises, too. Each stop will feature an all-ages story time at the start of the program, followed by a variety of activities and giveaways with our Mobile Technology Lab.

Participate in the Summer Reading Challenge and hang out with our friends at the Rollin' Recmobile while you're here!

All visits are 11:30 am-1 pm.

- Twin Pines Park, 3500 42nd St. NE: Tuesdays, June 9-Aug. 4
- Redmond Park, 1545 Third Ave. SE: Thursdays, June 11-Aug. 6
- Daniels Park, 940 Oakland Road NE: Fridays, June 12-26 & July 10-Aug. 7

The Summer Reading Challenge is generously supported by the Cedar Rapids Public Library Foundation, Hills Bank, and the Friends of the Cedar Rapids Public Library.

Severe Weather Policy:

The Cedar Rapids Public Library values and prioritizes the safety of our patrons and staff. During extreme weather, outdoor outreach programs will be cancelled in accordance with Iowa Department of Public Health guidelines, including:

- Tornado or Severe Thunderstorm Warnings
- Heat Index above 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Wind Chill below 10 degrees Fahrenheit
- Air Quality Index over 150

Outdoor outreach may also be cancelled at the discretion of the Library Director or library management.

All decisions will be made no later than 30 minutes before the start of an outdoor program. Cancellations will be communicated on the library’s social media channels and online calendar.
