Join shamanic practitioner Laina Pilkenton for a mini workshop where you can begin to dip your toes into the world of the Runes.Studying Runelore and working with the Runes is an ongoing (and can be a lifelong) process. In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the very basics of working with the Elder Futhark Runes. During a sound healing ceremony, you’ll have the chance to meditate and journey with your Rune of choice (or you can draw one from the pouch!) to learn more about what guidance it has for you at this time. To commemorate the experience and to nurture your connection to the Runes, you’ll also have the opportunity to make a (naturally shed) Runic deer antler pendant for yourself.Suggested materials: Bring a journal, yoga mat, and comfort items to ensure your comfort during the ceremony. All crafting materials will be provided. Chairs are available during the meditation for those who prefer them.Registration: $60.
