Ashley Doster’s son Max was born with a rare genetic condition Tetrasomy18p which affects only 500 people in the world. He is mentally delayed and physically impaired, and wasn't expected to make it to a year old. In November he will be 14!

Max surpassed all of the thing they said he would never do. He plays baseball, loves being around people and in the community, loves comedy and music. He just brings so much joy to everyone he meets.

Max is having a spinal fusion surgery which will put four rods in his back to correct his scoliosis. Right now I lift Max in and out of a regular van seat and put his wheelchair in the back. After this surgery due to healing, pain, and physical restrictions this is no longer a safe option.

A wheelchair accessible vehicle would allow Ashley to safely take Max to and from appointments, school, baseball, and out in the community to maintain his quality of life.
