Pop Up Protest - New Hope Resistance

WHAT: Inspired by Singing Resistance (www.instagram.com/singingresistancetc) we are hosting a pop-up protest in solidarity with victims of ICE violence. We will sing in witness to the harm ICE is perpetrating in our communities and across the US. Our goal is to tell the story of a nonviolent civil resistance movement through song and community building. This will be an opportunity to connect, while drawing attention to the realities of the current administration.

LOCATION: The corner of Whitestone Blvd at 183A. The 1890 Ranch shopping center is located at this corner. This location was chosen for visibility, ample parking, and proximity to Target, which is complicit with ICE kidnappings in MN. See comments for map.

TIME: Feb 28, 2-4PM

DAY OF: We will meet on the sidewalk, so please walk down to the street once you’ve parked. We recommend parking near Amy’s Ice Cream as they are supportive of our group! Please bring signs and percussion instruments if you have them! We will have some extras to share.
