Martial arts have been upended and dominated by the influx of Jujitsu, wrestling and other grappling based sports / arts for the past decade; just watch the UFC. The grappling arts continue to evolve and hybrid with each other at a very rapid pace. Many wrestlers do submissions and many jujitsu practitioners have adapted takedowns and clinch work to their game. However, like most things, once you take them out of their natural element, things change.
In this seminar, we will work on:
1) Understanding the differing factors of environment. (Am I on the mat with a Gi and friends or did i just get hit from the side and now on my back with my child behind me, outside of the store?)
2) Does size matter and how? (The answer is yes, but how much?)
3) How again are we to fight off more than one person while I'm on my back or being kicked in the head.
4) What's my endgame or priority? (It's not a submission.)
5) Are legit ground fighters the people I am focusing on in my self-defense training? (Who is my real threat / enemy?)
6) Weapons anyone?
This experience is only $60. Get your tickets and DM us.
This is going to be lots of fun and a really cool additive to you self-defense profile.
See you there.
