Winter Bark at the Park

Bring your pup to meet other dogs on a wintertime walk along the lake!

Bring your friendly dog along for a guided 1-mile walk along the shore of Joe Poole Lake.

All friendly dogs are welcome, but must remain on leash at all times.

When: Saturday, February 28th, 2026 from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
Where: Shoreline Trailhead near the North Boat Ramp
Bring: Water, bags for dog poop, and a snack if you need one.
Wear: Good shoes for walking and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with a $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
