Please join us for our Community Halloween Party! This event is open to the public and will be held at the back pavilion/stage area. There will be 3 contests. (See flyer in the picture.) This will be a night of pure fun!! Please share!
We will have:
Best Jack-O-Lantern contest…carve at home and enter yours into the contest. There’s no charge to enter. The best pumpkin will win $50. To be announced during the costume contest.
Halloween themed dessert contest. Do you like to bake or make goodies? Entry for this is free. We need your desserts! We will have a Chinese auction so people can try to win the deserts. You can buy tickets for $1 each or get 6 for $5. There will be 3 prizes for this contest. 1st place $50 and a trophy, 2nd & 3rd will get a trophy and bottle of “boos”! Tickets to be drawn and winners announced immediately following the costume contest.
The costume contest will start at 9:30 and there are 3 winner categories. Scariest $75, Most original or funny $75, and best couple $150.
Haunted Hay Ride is from 7-9pm. Adults and kids 14+ $5, kids 23 and under are free.
There will be chili & hotdogs with a toppings bar available for purchase from 5-8pm.
All the proceeds made from this event will go towards the nursing home fund that we use to buy Xmas presents for the residents of Cedar Hill Nursing Home.
