- **Event Name**: Birds and Burials
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 31 Oct, 2026 at 08:00 am (-05:00)
- **Event Description**: Celebrate the spooky season with us and Cedar Hill Museum of History! We are partnering to bring you an unforgettable walk with birds and history in a local Cedar Hill cemetery. The specific cemetery will be determined soon.

Cemeteries are great places to bird and great places to learn about local history!

We will, respectfully, walk the cemetery looking for birds and stopping at certain headstones to learn about the local history.

You can bring your own binoculars or borrow some from Dogwood Canyon.

Pre-registration is required as all historical Cedar Hill cemeteries have limited parking access.

If you'd like to do some cemetery birding anytime of the year check out Jennifer Bristol's book "Cemetery Birding: An Unexpected Guide to Discovering Birds in Texas".
