Learn all skills of the game while enjoying a day off from school. First time players and experienced players welcomed. Each player will be trained and grouped to age level/skill set. From defense to hitting, pitching and catching, our camps cover it all. Our aim is to teach players techniques which will provide strength and confidence, while staying positive and having fun.

Baseball’s Finest 2025 Baseball & Softball Camps hosted by, Montclair State All-Time Hits Leader and former NJ Jackal, Craig Conway. Coach Conway, who has coached at the Jackal’s summer camps since 2001, has set out with his staff to train young athletes to become their best. These complete baseball and softball camps are aimed at enhancing athlete’s overall abilities at all facets of the game.

A perfect opportunity to improve skills while enjoying days off from school. Our goal is to teach players techniques which will provide strength and confidence for the upcoming season while staying positive and above all, having fun!

Camps will include but are not limited to:

Hitting: Batting practice will be taken each day and new hitting skills will be introduced to ensure progress.

Fielding: Both outfield and infield stations will teach the importance of each position, all while giving the athletes a more diverse range of athletic ability.

Bunting and Baserunning: Widely overlooked, these two essentials of the game will be instructed every day. Athletes will learn to understand that each skill within the game holds the same value.

Throwing: Proper mechanics will be developed to increase consistency and to minimize the chance for arm injury.

Games, Competitions and Prizes: Every day after lunch, all campers will participate in supervised competitions involving all skills of baseball and softball. Prizes will be awarded.

This is the perfect opportunity to enhance athletic abilities, learn successful training tools, gain confidence, stay active and have fun!

Example Camp Day:

9:00 am- Attendance and Check-in

9:10 am- Stretching & Team Warm Up

9:30 am- 11:30 am Baseball fundamentals drills

11:30 am- Bring Your Own Lunch

12:00 pm- Supervised Competitions (age/skill level determined), Contests and Prizes!

1:00 pm- Dismissal

About The Complex: Home to the NJ Tribe Baseball Teams, Baseball's Finest also hosts many towns recreation and travel baseball and softball programs. Accommodating all ages and skill levels, our 5,000 sq ft indoor turf facility has two 60 retractable cages and a pitching machine. Nets separate the entire facility in half or split into tunnels, allowing for multiple athletes to practice safety at once. The well-lit warehouse space without pillars makes it an excellent area for teamwork, larger group practices, clinics and defensive work.
