On Saturday November 15th starting at 1pm, Service Unit 603 will be hosting the Juliette Gordon Low Pinewood Derby (ALL AGES of Girl Scouts plus families) at Orchard Hill Church. Girls can come individually with family or as part of a troop. We will need some adult volunteers (see options within the form).
Cost to race is $5. EACH PARTICIPANT WILL NEED THEIR OWN FORM FILLED OUT SO WE CAN ORGANIZE RACES. REGISTER BY TUESDAY, November 11th.*

We will also have a People's Choice for Best Design! (Registered Girl Scouts Only)
Girls must either attend with their Girl Scout troop (confirm with leader) or have at least 1 adult attend. This is a FAMILY event so we have categories for siblings and adults who might want to race cars. Adults who attend do NOT have to race a car as they can just cheer and enjoy time with their girl(s) and family. EACH PARTICIPANT WHO IS BRINGING A CAR NEEDS THEIR OWN PERMISSION FORM.

*Registration will close on Tuesday, November 11th to ensure derby cars will be able to race on Saturday, November 15th. Please contact Salina Gavin 319-830-4769 after registration closes if you miss the deadline. We encourage you to register, day of entrants run the risk of not being able to race due to the racing system. Our Scouts (formerly BSA) friends (Pack 3055) are helping us put on this event.
