Participation is limited for this free event — register today!About this EventAbout this event:This advanced Sporting Clays Clinic is a challenging clay target shoot designed to simulate field shooting scenarios on a sporting clays course. Come work on your trap skills in this friendly and informative hands-on shooting clinic. Shooters will be given an advanced instruction training session before being presented with a variety of targets that duplicate the flight path of game birds, such as flushing, crossing, and other angling shots.What to expect:Shooters will rotate through stations to accommodate all participants. All shooters will have the chance to shoot at a total of up to 50 clays each.To further challenge shooters, various sporting options will be available. There are even special “rabbit” targets that are thrown on end that skitter across the ground.Ammunition will be provided, both in 12-gauge and 20-gauge.What to bring with you:Participants will need to provide their own shotgun, as well as eye and ear protection.Dress prepared for the weather, including appropriate footwear.Event locationCedar City Trap Club is located at 1490 Kitty Hawk Dr, Cedar City, UT 84721 (next to the Iron County Search and Rescue)Note: This event is free, but participation is limited to the first 20 people ages 18 or older who register.ContactJC Ballard | 435-590-6729 | jcballard@utah.gov.
