 As part of the conference's opening night, we're hosting a free community film screening featuring three short films that explore how agriculture can strengthen communities, restore connection to the land, and build resilience from the ground up. Expect stories of farmers, neighbors, and everyday people rekindling relationships with soil, food, culture, and energy in ways that nourish both people and place.

Films featured: 
Land and Heart (Thriving Communities) - The story of young farmer Corbin Scholz, whose journey reveals both the challenges and hope of small-scale agriculture — tending soil, nourishing neighbors, and breaking barriers in a male-dominated field.

Rooted in Community (Thriving Communities) - A look at Red Acre Farm & Red Acre Center — and how a small Utah CSA grows not only organic food, but community resilience, connection, and local food access.

 Powering Community (Torus) - A behind-the-scenes look at Wasatch Community Gardens' City Farm, an off-grid urban farm powered by renewable solar + battery storage — growing 46,000 seedlings while modeling sustainable agriculture.

People featured in the films will join us for a panel discussion immediately following the screening.
