See https://findingthefells.co.uk/requirements-equipment/ for more details.Route description:Starting from Blue John Cavern we’ll head up to the summit of Mam Tor via it’s western staircase and then follow the Great Ridge eastward down to Hollin’s Cross before a steep climb to Back Tor then on to the quieter end of the ridge at Lose Hill. We’ll then head downhill following the lower level trails into Castleton before passing around the back of Peveril Castle to ascend the rocky gulley of Cavedale before circling back to the start.Meeting at 8:45am – should be plentiful parking at this time by Blue John Cavern or on Sheffield Road.Meeting at the small cafe hut/bus stop outside Blue John Cavern.
