His early solo work was compiled on the album Underneath the Radar 2008-2012 (Fuse music), punk rock on I Wish Life Could Be...Swedish Magazines (Rubber Records, 4.5 Stars Rolling Stone), and his last solo album Ghosting (Green South Records) was the Rhythms readers runner-up album of 2020. Van continues to tour consistently nationally and internationally, having just returned from another tour of Ireland and also Canada where his new album Healing Descent has been recorded, along with his work with The Ferriters, who have been described as "one of the best acts on the Irish-Australian scene" - Koroit Irish Festival, along with his own solo work, he continues to receive critical acclaim for his contributions to the industry.
