Elizabeth is a Castlemaine based painter specialising in self-portraits and portraits from life. Her work has been exhibited in national prizes and solo shows at Melbourne galleries including C3 Contemporary Art Space and Gallerysmith Project Space. Elizabeth has undertaken residencies at Hill End, BigCi, and Tweed Regional Gallery, and holds a Diploma in Visual Arts and PhD in History.

In this talk, Elizabeth will reflect on her journey as an artist and discuss her self-portraits and the process of painting from life.
