Celebrating National Disc Golf Day, Inside The Chains is a single-day two-round tournament at Rhyolite Park DGC in Castle Rock, CO. Designed to a comfortable first step into competition while still fun and challenging for seasoned players too.
Check out last year's photo album on the website to see how much fun this is.
Two rounds of 18 holes with shotgun start. Second round players meeting starts 1 hours after last card turned in from first round.
True amateur event meaning all amateur divisions will get the same larger player pack and only top contenders receive a trophy too.
Awards ceremony soon after completion of second round and putting competition finals.
We will be using the PDGA Live scoring app so there are helpful videos on the event website if you're not familiar or need a refresher.
Plus a 9-hole mini disc golf course and a putting competition for extra fun while raising money for local charity. Both can be played anytime by anyone, as many times as you want until the second round players meeting when all extra fun scorecards must be turned in Saturday afternoon. Then a final putting round for top contenders will happen right before the awards ceremony in front of the crowd to decide winners. Both mini disc golf and putting can be played again and again by buying another scorecard from TD to record a better score and raise more money for charity. Must have a minimum of 10 registrations for the mini to happen.
Official tournament charity will be E.D.G.E. Education Disc Golf Experience who provides curriculum, equipment, and supply packages for all school levels. Half of the entry fee's of the mini disc golf and putting competition, as well as all straight donations from the registration page and collected on-site will be donated to E.D.G.E. and those funds will be used in Colorado.
Anyone not competing including the general public can also play the mini and putting extra fun events or just come and watch by using the NCS non-playing caddy/spectator division. There will also be on-site sign-ups with waivers for the extra fun events too.
Please read and understand the Refund/Cancel policy before registering, as explained in PDGA Competition Manual 1.03.
All registrations in the last nine days before registration closes will incur a $25 late registration fee.
I offer all divisions first, the consolidate closer to the tournament with everyone's permission of those involved.
All registrations for the PDGA competition will include the following pass-through fees: $5 greens fees/permit, $3 PDGA fee, $2 TD fee.
Meaning net entry fees are as follows: MPO & FPO= $70, MP40+ & FP40+= $50, All Amateurs= $40
