Paula enjoys teaching about sweaters, lace, felting, colorwork, and beginning knitting projects. Paula has found that reading patterns with mysterious symbols, charts, and abbreviations is intimidating for new knitter. She has made it her mission to help others become confident and skilled knitters so they can pick up a pattern on their own, get started, and fix their mistakes along the way. She finds it rewarding to see relationships and camaraderie that develops among her students and believes that knitting is one of the universal languages that bring all people together.
