Drum Safari, a percussive family music group, brings their high-energy, interactive performance to the Library this summer as part of the 20th Anniversary Tour, with multiple performances from June 22 through June 26. During the performance, children are invited to join a musical “safari” where they meet different animals from all over the world, each set to a rhythm. After meeting the animals, each child is given a percussion instrument… and the jungle jam begins! As the rhythms of the animals lock together, an exciting sense of community begins to develop. This program includes interactive songs, dancing, and, of course, DRUMMING! Plan to arrive early to guarantee your spot. Special thanks to the Natrona County Joint Powers Board, whose grant makes special performers like this possible. Call 577-7323 for more information, and plan on joining us at one of the multiple showtimes throughout the week to take part in this summer's Drum Safari.
