- **Event Description**: Students in grades K-6 are invited to join us for Afterschool @ the Library on Wednesday, February 18 at 4 PM in the Crawford Room for a Book Tasting.

So what’s a book tasting? It’s a fun, interactive way for kids to explore new books they might not normally pick up. During this program, the room will be set up like a tasting experience, with different books “served” at each table. Kids will spend time browsing, reading, and talking about each book before rotating to the next table to sample another title.

As they move through the stations, participants will get a chance to “taste” a variety of books and decide which ones they’re most excited to read. At the end of the program, kids will rank their favorites, helping them discover new stories and genres in a relaxed, social setting.

Book Tasting is a great way to build excitement around reading, encourage curiosity, and help kids find their next favorite book. All materials are provided, and no preparation is needed. Call 577.7323 for more information.
