- **Event Name**: A Breathwork Quest: Grounding
- **Event Start and End Date**: Tue, 15 Sep, 2026 at 07:00 pm
- **Event Description**: As the weather shifts to cooler days and longer nights, we begin our journey towards turning in and finding comfort in our grounding practices.

For this we practice working with the first chakra, the muladhara chakra, which is located at the base of the spine.
“Muladhara” means root, and is associated with the earth element, linked to your ability to dig in and feel firmly rooted in your life.
This wheel of energy (Chakra) is associated with your sense of security, familial relationships and your feeling of home. When energy is flowing through the first chakra, you feel firmly grounded in yourself and the world around you.

When the root chakra is out of alignment, you may experience:
-Weight gain
-Weight loss
-Constipation
-Pelvic pain
-Incontinence
-Increased distractibility
-Rushing from one task to another
-Feeling exhausted or lethargic
-Increased feelings of anxiety, stress or depression
-Feeling stuck
-Inability to take action

When you feel stressed or anxious due to a lack of Grounding, your breath naturally becomes shorter and more rapid. This shallow pattern of breathing only contributes to feelings of stress and anxiety, reduces feelings of grounding and centering and results in increased physical tension further.

The Deep breathing exercises that we will practice in this class will help you achieve a greater sense of grounding and relaxation and act as an exercise to bring mindful long and slower breathing into your everyday life.

??? ?????????? ??????????:
In this session, Hannah will guide you through a series of intentional breathing techniques, rhythmic patterns, and breath holds designed to open the body and expand consciousness. This style of breathwork supports physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well‑being by directly influencing the nervous system and the body’s internal rhythms.

As you learn to work with your breath and create spaciousness within the lungs, you cultivate a holistic mind‑body‑spirit harmony. Many participants experience reduced stress, anxiety, PTSD symptoms, depression, grief, chronic pain, and anger. Breathwork can also enhance energy, focus, mental clarity, athletic performance, and your sense of connection—to yourself, to others, and to the earth.

?????????? ???:
We will begin with a warm cup of ceremonial Egyptian Blue Lotus tea. For more than 3,000 years, Blue Lotus was revered by ancient Egyptian priesthood for its medicinal qualities and its role as a sacred spiritual plant. Its gentle, consciousness‑expanding properties are often described as having a “divine” essence, inviting feelings of tranquility, openness, and subtle euphoria.

??????????? ??? ?????:
To support a deeper experience, please observe the following guidelines:
-Avoid caffeine for at least 2 hours before class.
-Avoid eating for 1 hour and drinking for 30 minutes beforehand.
-Empty your bowels and bladder prior to the session to minimize interruptions.
After practice, we will offer soothing chamomile tea and fresh fruit to help you rehydrate, ground, and transition peacefully into your evening.

???? ?? ??????:
-The practice takes place in a comfortable reclined position.
-A sleep mask is recommended to enhance the inner journey. One will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
-While the breathwork itself is deeply meditative, the music may surprise you. Sound is an integral part of the experience, shifting in energy and volume to support the breath, elevate emotion, and deepen focus.
-After the session, you will have approximately 30 minutes to journal, reflect, or participate in an optional group discussion.

???? ?? ?????:
-One or two cozy blankets from home.
-A sleep mask, if you prefer your own.
-A journal for post‑practice reflection.
-Loose, comfortable clothing. Avoid tight waistbands or restrictive sports bras to allow full, unrestricted breathing.
-Please arrive with bowels and bladder emptied to support an uninterrupted experience.
