- **Event Description**: Hello all! This is a public/open jam session for all skill levels. Attendance is free and no purchase is required to participate.  Come and be a part of our growing music community! I learned to play in community jams like this, and they are still one of my favorite things. 

The jam is in the Side Street building adjacent to Cashmere records. If you can't find the jam, just ask at the record store.

If you don't know how to jam, no sweat. I will explain the basic etiquette at the start so everyone knows what to expect. I hope to have a broad enough sample of players to break out into groups of different preferences and skill levels. 

Bring 2-5 songs or tunes to share and be ready to learn from your fellow jammers! I won't enforce the Bluegrass-ness of this jam super strictly, but keep other jammers in mind when selecting repertoire to play. The communal experience is more important than impressing others - so pick things that are close enough to the tradition that everyone can play along and take turns playing leads.
