Join us on the Cross-Country Course at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC, to run, jog, walk, or cheer—with or without your furry friend. The course combines an open field and a natural trail that will be fun for runners of all ages and skill levels! is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization comprised of local veterinarians and volunteers. Our mission is to help Veterans suffering from physical and/or emotional disabilities, including potential for suicide, by matching them with rescued shelter dogs to be trained for service. All proceeds from the 5K9 Dog Jog will help cover the $25,000 program costs so our wounded warriors can focus on the healing power of the animal/human bond. Your participation in this event will help us improve and save lives, one Veteran and one dog at a time!Check-inRace Day check-in or registration is at 8:00 am. The opening ceremony begins at 9:00 am.Fun Activities!Exciting activities await you and your furry friend before, during, and after the race. Enjoyproduct vendors, veteran service organizations, animal rescue organizations, snacks, water, raffle prizes, and a DJ! Invite your fans and friends to join, cheer you on, and participate in the celebration.Support Your Race by FundraisingHave your friends and loved ones donate towards your raceresults. Enter your fundraising efforts on your personal race web page.Support by Becoming a Vendor or SponsorYour team is at the heart of this event for our team, and we want topromote your business or organization in as many ways as we can.The event field will have an assigned 10'x10' plot. Tents, tables, chairs, electricity, orequipment of any kind will NOT BE PROVIDED.Set-up times for Sponsors, Donors, Product Vendors, and Nonprofit vendors begin at 7:30 AM on race day. Please have areas completed before 8:45 AM.
