CARY, NC – Spring is the best time of year for Triangle gardeners, and The Friends of the Page-Walker is offering garden enthusiasts the inspiration they need to get growing at their Annual Herbfest celebration.  Held on the lovely grounds of the Page-Walker Arts & History Center in downtown Cary, the festival will be held Sunday, May 3, from 12 pm to 4 pm. 

This event promises something for everyone. Guests will have an opportunity to stroll through craft and herb booths that will be selling items related to gardening, herbs, native plants, perennials, and nature.  The festival will also feature our signature activities, including a fun craft activity for kids, our very popular Young Friends bake sale and our signature must-see butterfly release at 2:30 pm.  

Festival -goers can visit our beautiful gardens located on the Page-Walker grounds- the Anne Kratzer Educational Herb Garden, our new Children’s  Sensory Garden,  and our Pollinator Garden. Guests are also invited to tour the Page-Walker, where a walking tour brochure full of interesting information, will guide you through this beautiful and historic building.  

This event is co-sponsored by the Town of Cary and The Friends of the Page- Walker, an all-volunteer, non-profit, membership organization whose mission is to Preserve, Promote and Share Cary’s History.
