Balance of $70 is to be paid the day of the class.****NOTE: Balance must be paid with cash. There are no card processing services available.This class is an all-day class and provides training which meets the state requirements for receiving a NCCCH permit. The class covers legal issues, firearm safety, handgun types, operation, a review of basic marksmanship, and general concerns when carrying a firearm in public. While handbooks and other materials are reviewed, open discussion is an important part of the learning and is encouraged. The class is conducted to support each student and promote confidence and responsible handgun carry. The course includes a written test and a shooting qualification. The shooting qualification consists of shooting at distances of 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 12 yards. Students must successfully complete both qualification items to receive the course certificate.The classroom portion is presented in a classroom environment with appropriate facilities. The shooting evaluation will be conducted on an outdoor range; please, bring appropriate clothing for being outdoors for approximately 1 hour, depending upon the number of participants. Waivers are required for each participant.Students must bring their own lunch. Facility has a refrigerator and a microwave available. Some snacks and assorted soft drinks and water will be provided.Additional details will be provided upon completion of registration.
