Hiking for Beginners

Many of us experience the beauty and wonder of nature through hiking. Others have just never had the opportunity or exposure and may need a little guidance. No judgement here.. we like to be outside and educate others!
Join us as we talk about where to go, where NOT to go, what to bring (and what not to bring!), how to stay not lost, using your senses, what IS a trekking pole, how to deal with different situations you might encounter on the trail, and lots more.
Meet at the Picnic Tables behind the Visitors Center
$5 program fee and parking pass required.
